I here recently visited one event related to meykap, considered many female faces and I want to write about a small nuance concerning the line of eyebrows. I already wrote a great review about the actual shape and design of the eyebrows , and there even touched on this topic. But I feel that on some issues it is worth dwelling in more detail. So, today about the “tail” eyebrows – why should not it be lowered too low and why the old schemes do not work.
To begin with, remember how it used to be used to calculate the ideal shape of the eyebrow: from the bottom point of the nose, projections were made to the inner corner of the eye, the middle of the pupil and the outer corner of the eye. It was at these points that an eyebrow arched. This is a very old scheme, but many women who adjust the form themselves, still adhere to it.
In the last ten years (and maybe more already) the point of the central bend of the eyebrow has shifted from the nose slightly closer to the temple. The projection is not in the pupil, but behind it, as it were. (these schemes on pictures are conditional, and on projections the difference is not very felt, but it is clearly visible from the drawing of the eyebrow itself)
Why did this happen? Fashion is there for everything, including faces, as if we did not want to think about universal beauty outside of time. Highly curved eyebrows created a somewhat coquettish female image. With the displacement of the bend, the main line of the eyebrows became more direct, dynamic, extending upward. And this immediately gave women’s faces a different expression.
The latest fashion trends (and we know that they are always associated with social trends) tell us that in the female form, deliberate flirtatiousness is inappropriate at all, therefore, it is better to get rid of bending, and to browse as smoothly as possible.
This is the basic, so to speak global idea, about which it is worth remembering. But the eyebrows are not the length of the skirt. Of course, you can draw on your face anything you like. But it’s better to start from the natural form. And it is clear that if you have a pronounced bend – then you can not draw a straight form. And then I advise you to pay attention to the tail. It is the tail of the eyebrow that makes the bend more pronounced. And if the tail is lowered low – it also gives a slightly capricious expression to the person.
In some, especially after a certain age, this expression is not whimsical, but tired. Here’s a great example with an unfortunate, in my opinion, tattoo (or what it is there). The initial shape, perhaps, is narrow, but its length is good. And as a result of the procedure, the tail was greatly lengthened. Eyelids immediately began to look heavier
A good example of how the view changes, if you slightly remove the tail. Even leaving a bend in this case. Yes, these are all barely noticeable little things, but from such trifles, as a result, a complete picture is formed.
And if for even foreign models and stars even a slightly lowered tail is not so critical, in our stars (and even more so of ordinary women) I see that this is an obvious problem. The tail of the eyebrow is not only omitted, it is still thinned, coming to naught, and goes down below the projection point. In combination with other irrelevant details of make-up and the image as a whole – this creates a very “outdated” look.
Even if you have eyebrows with a curve from nature and the tail is pronounced, do not make it clear, thin and long. On the contrary, in this case it is better to shade a shadow or a pencil just on the tip. It is not necessary to draw and thicken. It is enough that there simply was not a “rat tail”.
Here so – it is better not necessary
Worse than the “rat tail” can only be such a downturned tail, that it seems just about and the eyebrow will begin another arch or bend 🙂
